Job summary

Howdens Joinery is recruiting a Warehouse Person at our depot in Wales. This hands-on role focuses on unloading deliveries, stock checks, and preparing orders for dispatch, with strong emphasis on safety, accuracy and timely service to trade customers.

You will work in a fast-paced team, maintain high standards, and benefit from a 40-hour week, training, generous annual leave, pension, staff discounts and a supportive bonus culture.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence is desirable.
• Good stock control and knowledge of health and safety principles.
• Can work independently and in a team while keeping accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Unloading deliveries and checking stock in line with safety standards.
• Carrying out daily checks on forklift trucks and equipment.
• Ensuring stock is secure and prepared for dispatch with accurate records.
• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and efficient through stock rotation.
• Supporting trade customers with professional service and timely deliveries.
