Job summary

Howdens Joinery is seeking a Warehouse Person at our Welshpool depot. You will unload deliveries, check stock, operate forklift trucks and keep precise records, always prioritising health and safety. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, team-driven environment where accuracy and organisation matter.

You will work with trade customers, support stock rotation and help with deliveries, collections and daily depot operations. A reliable, proactive approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence desirable and valid.
• Good understanding of stock control and health and safety.
• Accurate records, strong attention to detail.
• Clear literacy, numeracy and time management.
• Reliable, hands-on, team player with a professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries and check stock accurately.
• Carry out daily forklift checks and maintain equipment.
• Ensure stock is secure and prepared for dispatch.
• Perform regular stock checks and recordkeeping.
• Keep warehouse clean, organized and efficient.
• Assist with deliveries, collections and operations.
