Job summary

W Talent is seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to own stock control, warehouse operations and inventory processes within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will lead a small team, improve visibility and implement robust stock management processes to support customer delivery and production continuity.

Qualifications

• Experience leading inventory and warehouse teams.
• Proven ability to reduce stock levels and improve accuracy.
• Experience in manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems.
• Experience with Kanban and visual management.
• Data-driven and analytical approach to inventory performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead inventory, warehouse and dispatch operations.
• Manage and develop a team of 5 direct reports.
• Improve inventory accuracy and stock visibility.
• Drive reductions in excess, obsolete and non-conforming stock.
• Implement stock control methodologies and visual management.
• Improve warehouse organisation, material flow and inventory processes.
• Support the implementation and optimisation of MRP / inventory management systems.
• Introduce and maintain Kanban, visual management and process controls.
• Work closely with production and operational teams to ensure material availability and continuity of supply.
• Monitor inbound and outbound stock movements to support production and customer delivery.
• Ensure robust reporting and KPI tracking across inventory performance.
