Job summary

Exceed Human Resource Consultants is seeking a capable Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse and stores operations in a manufacturing environment. You will manage receiving, storage, picking, kitting, and issuing materials, ensure accurate inventory records, cycle counts, 5S standards and lead a team with strong planning and problem-solving.

Responsibilities include ensuring safety, coordinating material flow to meet production timelines, maintaining stock accuracy, and driving timely

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Valid forklift licence where applicable.
• Previous warehouse/stores experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous team-leading or supervisory experience.
• Experience in receiving, stock control, picking/kitting, cycle counting and warehouse safety.
• Working knowledge of an ERP system; SYSPRO experience advantageous.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and structural drawings.
• Strong leadership, planning, problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Good numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal English communication.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet physical requirements of the role.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse and stores operations in a manufacturing environment.
• Oversee receiving, storage, picking, kitting and issuing of materials.
• Coordinate material flow to ensure production requirements are met on time.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, stock locations and traceability.
• Conduct cycle counts and stocktakes and investigate stock variances.
• Manage warehouse layout, capacity, housekeeping and 5S standards.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse safety, quality, PPE and handling procedures.
• Lead, coach and manage warehouse staff and allocate daily workloads.
• Monitor warehouse performance, shortages, supplier delays and operational issues.
• Ensure accurate and timely ERP/SYSPRO transactions.
