Job summary

South West Recruitment is seeking an experienced Stock Controller to join a well-established food manufacturing company in Yeovil. The role combines stock control, warehouse administration, goods in/out and order preparation.

You will maintain accurate stock records, manage inbound/outbound deliveries, implement FIFO, conduct regular stock counts and support the Supply Chain team. Hours are Monday to Friday, 7.00am – 3.30pm, with a starting salary from £30,000 per annum.

Qualifications

• Stock control, inventory management, and warehouse operations experience.
• Experience with goods in/out and stock records.
• Ability to manage stock movements and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Managing inbound and outbound deliveries, including loading and unloading.
• Booking deliveries onto the system and completing associated documentation.
• Accurately picking, labelling and wrapping pallets for dispatch.
• Maintaining FIFO stock rotation.
• Carrying out weekly and monthly stock counts.
• Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
• Liaising with external storage providers regarding stock movements.
• Updating the Supply Chain team on finished goods stock levels.
