Job summary

Attega Group Ltd in Fareham is seeking a Stock and Transport Controller to ensure accurate movement of inventory across the business. You will manage stock integrity, reconciliation, and coordinate transport and freight schedules.

The role is full-time and permanent, Monday to Friday, with a salary of up to £28,000 per year plus company benefits such as pension, annual leave, onsite parking and EV charging.

Qualifications

• Must have previous stock control and inventory management experience.
• Comfortable in a warehouse, wholesale, FMCG, or distribution environment.
• Must have transport and logistics knowledge and experience.
• Must have ERP/WMS systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Accountability of stock accuracy, inventory reconciliation, stock integrity and inventory reporting.
• Transport coordination, dispatch scheduling, freight cost control, and managing freight and shipping schedules.
• Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies.
• Maintaining ERP/WMS accuracy.

Have you worked in a warehouse, wholesale, FMCG, or distribution environment?

We are currently recruiting for a Stock and Transport Controller to join their team.

The main purpose of this Stock and Transport Controller role is to ensure accurate movement of inventory across the business.

In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £28,000 P/A, depending on experience.

This role is full-time and permanent. The hours of work will be Monday to Friday.

Reporting to the Managing Director, your responsibilities will include:

• Accountability of stock accuracy, inventory reconciliation, stock integrity and inventory reporting.
• Transport coordination, dispatch scheduling, freight cost control, and managing freight and shipping schedules.
• Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies.
• Maintaining ERP/WMS accuracy.
