Job summary

Rexel UK is hiring an Inventory Supervisor at the Aylesbury Distribution Centre to ensure stock accuracy, optimise storage and support continuous improvement in warehouse systems.

In this Monday-to-Friday role (06:00–14:30 predominately), you will lead cycle counts, drive data integrity in the WMS, coordinate transfers and coach operational teams to achieve service targets.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.

• Excellent communication and coaching skills.
• Intermediate Excel skills and MS Office.
• Understanding of inventory control principles and warehouse housekeeping.
• Experience working with shift teams and cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain WMS data integrity to optimise stock levels, storage space and planning.
• Lead cycle count programs and turn count results into corrective actions that reduce losses.
• Coordinate stock transfers and rotations to protect product quality and availability.
• Support UAT and act as a super‑user for WMS improvements and process changes.
• Train and support operational teams on WMS use and inventory best practice; provide refresher coaching.
• Monitor item data capture and resolve inaccuracies to keep the system audit-ready.
• Drive layout, housekeeping and health-check routines to sustain efficient operations.
• Escalate risks and advise management on issues that could affect performance.
• Champion SHEQ standards and ensure team adherence to safety and quality procedures.
