Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a Stores Controller in Stevenage to manage stores and inventory, oversee loading of work packages, and ensure timely support for manufacturing programmes. The role requires hands-on stock control, packing, and updating records in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in stores or manufacturing control, willingness to work flexible shifts, and strong attention to detail. Training in manual handling, lifting/slinging, and ESD is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in a stores environment or manufacturing control.
• Follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
• Willing to work flexible shift patterns and use own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Stock control / storekeeping including shelf life control.
• Loading manufacturing cells with the requisite jobs to meet planned lead and cycle times.
• Packing and receiving/issuing tooling.
• Updating computer records.
• Kitting activity.
• Loading and unloading of Lorries.
