Job summary

Lloyd Barnes Recruitment is supporting a large, established organisation in Plymouth, Devon, to recruit an Inventory Finance Analyst on a full-time, permanent basis. You will join the finance team and apply data-driven insights to improve inventory performance and maximise profitability.

You will work with purchasing, merchandising, supply chain and senior stakeholders, turning complex stock data into actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified accountant status or equivalent experience required.
• Advanced Excel and Power BI proficiency required.
• Experience with ERP and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Analyse inventory levels, stock age, trends and KPIs to provide insight.
• Investigate discrepancies and assess financial impact.
• Develop forecasting to anticipate stock issues.
• Support inventory valuations and financial controls.
• Coordinate stock takes across stores and distribution centres.
• Maintain inventory data accuracy and reporting.
• Communicate insights to non-finance stakeholders.
• Identify improvements to inventory processes and controls.
