Job summary

DK Recruitment in Plymouth is recruiting a commercially focused finance professional to join its finance team. You will analyse stock and purchasing data and support operational decision-making.

The role covers inventory control, variance analysis, forecasting support, and producing reports for stakeholders. Strong Excel and Power BI skills, plus experience with ERP systems, are essential. You will work with colleagues across the business to improve processes and performance.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified accountant or AAT qualified.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Excellent Excel and data interpretation abilities.
• Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels, movements, ageing and performance.
• Review stock data to identify variances, unusual movements and potential risks.
• Investigate discrepancies and work with teams to understand reasons behind them.
• Analyse financial impact of inventory issues and identify improvements.
• Support forecasting and planning around stock requirements.
• Produce regular reports and analysis for finance and stakeholders.
