Gap Personnel Limited is seeking an Inventory Accountant to join the Head Office team in Plymouth. You will analyse inventory performance and provide insights to improve purchasing efficiency and profitability, working across finance, purchasing and supply chain.

The role requires strong analytical skills, advanced Excel and Power BI, and experience with large data sets. You will turn financial data into clear recommendations and support stock takes across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing inventory levels, stock age, trends and KPIs.
• Identifying risks, opportunities and discrepancies within inventory data.
• Investigating stock discrepancies and providing recommendations.
• Supporting forecasting and trend analysis.
• Ensuring accurate inventory valuations and data integrity.
• Supporting physical stock takes across multiple locations.
• Working closely with purchasing, supply chain and other key stakeholders.

Location: Plymouth, Devon
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am - 5:30pm

We are recruiting for an Inventory Accountant to join the Head Office team of a well-established and growing organisation based in Plymouth.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, identifying trends and working collaboratively across finance, purchasing and supply chain teams to support commercial decision-making.

The Role

As Inventory Accountant, you will be responsible for analysing inventory performance and providing valuable insights to help improve purchasing efficiency and profitability.

Key responsibilities include:

• Analysing inventory levels, stock age, trends and KPIs
