Job summary

Van Leeuwen Group is seeking an Inventory Controller to manage stock accuracy, perform perpetual counts, and work with SAP to ensure precise stock records. You will coordinate with auditors and production planners, analyze discrepancies, and drive corrective actions to improve stock turnover and compliance.

The role requires strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and experience in inventory control within manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in inventory control or supply chain management.
• Experience within a manufacturing or process industry preferred.
• Experience using SAP is preferred.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Enter perpetual stock check results accurately into SAP.
• Conduct physical stock checks and SAP-based stock investigations.
• Lead root cause analysis into recurring stock discrepancies.
• Develop corrective and preventative actions to improve stock accuracy.
• Coordinate perpetual inventory (PI) counts with internal and external auditors.
• Monitor stock variance trends and support improvements in stock turnover.
• Communicate stock updates to relevant departments in a timely manner.
