Job summary

First Choice Staff is seeking a Stock Controller to oversee inventory accuracy and the smooth movement of goods across warehouse and retail operations. You will manage stock records, counts, discrepancies, and reporting to support launches, events, and e-commerce fulfilment.

The role requires hands-on experience with stock control processes, ERP or warehouse systems, and strong attention to detail. Office-based with warehouse duties and potential overtime during peak periods are expected.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in stock control, inventory management, or warehouse operations.
• Understanding of inventory control processes and stock management principles.
• Experience using inventory, ERP, or warehouse management systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain accurate stock records across all storage locations.
• Process stock receipts, transfers, returns, adjustments, and dispatch transactions.
• Ensure all inventory movements are recorded accurately within company systems.
• Maintain stock levels in line with clients requirements.
• Perform routine cycle counts and stock checks.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and work with relevant Clients to resolve issues.
• Reconcile physical stock levels against system records.
• Maintain high levels of stock accuracy.
• Work closely with warehouse teams to ensure correct stock handling and storage.
• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy.
• Ensure products are correctly labelled and located within storage areas.
• Support goods-in and goods-out processes as required.
• Prepare inventory reports and stock accuracy data.
• Maintain inventory documentation and records.
• Adhere to company stock control procedures and policies.
• Follow warehouse health and safety guidelines at all times.
• Ensure stock is stored and managed in accordance with operational standards.
