Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control Leader for our Blyth site. You will be the subject matter expert for stock and systems, supporting first line managers and the wider team to deliver outstanding results.

This full-time, permanent role operates on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern, with weekly rotation between 07:00–17:00 and 13:00–23:00. The role offers £30,000-£32,000 salary per year, with 25 days’ leave plus bank holidays, pension, dental insurance, life assurance, and access to

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory and stock processes within a warehouse environment.
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (JDA / Red Prairie highly desirable).
• Strong MS Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.

Responsibilities

• Plan, co-ordinate, supervise and report on warehouse operative activities.
• Process stock orders, load planning and stock handling using WMS.
• Act as the go-to contact for systems and stock issues as a Super User.
• Investigate stock discrepancies and implement preventative measures.
