Job summary

Valeo Foods UK is seeking a highly organised Stock Control Administrator to join our Leeds site. You will manage inventory across internal warehouses and third‑party logistics (3PL) partners, ensuring stock accuracy, investigating discrepancies, and analysing performance data.

You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maintain stock integrity and drive operational efficiency. Strong data skills and proficiency with Excel and ERP/WMS are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in stock control, inventory, warehouse administration, or supply chain role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confident working with large volumes of data and reporting tools.
• Experience with WMS, ERP, or inventory systems advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies between internal systems and 3PL records.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly stock reconciliations.
• Ensure inventory accuracy across all warehouse locations.
• Support stock count activities and follow up on variances identified.
• Conduct investigations into stock variances and root causes; identify trends.
• Recommend and implement corrective actions to minimise recurrence.
• Build relationships with warehouse teams, transport providers, and 3PL partners.
• Produce and maintain stock control reports and performance metrics.
