Job summary

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse to lead the Interventional Radiology team. You will work with radiologists, radiographers and anaesthetists across Angio, CT, Ultrasound, MRI and Recovery to deliver excellent patient care.

The role requires at least two years in a critical care setting and one year in Radiology Nursing, with opportunities to develop managerial skills and contribute to service improvement while upholding professional standards.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in a critical care setting
• At least one year's experience in Radiology Nursing
• Experience in leadership or supervision is desirable

Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Sister/Charge Nurse in delivering high-quality care and an efficient service
• Provide supplementary leadership to the nursing team and align with Trust objectives
• Supervise, manage and develop the nursing team under the Lead Nurse direction
• Facilitate ongoing professional development for staff, including students and radiography colleagues
• Adhere to Imperial Trust policies and the NMC Code of Professional Conduct at all times
• Maintain high standards and promote best practice through current evidence and research
• Support service improvement including data collection, process mapping and meetings as required
