Qualifications

• NMC registered and current PIN.
• First level degree required.
• ILS qualification or equivalent.

• Scrub competencies and cannulation/venipuncture skills.

Responsibilities

• Scrub for interventional procedures in IR.
• Monitor and recover patients; administer sedation.
• Act as nurse in charge on shifts and on-call for emergencies.
• Support line manager and supervise junior staff.
• Provide staff education, supervision and appraisal.
• Maintain accurate IT and patient data using systems.
