Zusammenfassung

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a Registered General Nurse to join the Interventional Radiology team. The post holder will deliver safe, patient-centred care during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, assess and plan care, and support complex patients within a multidisciplinary setting.

You will contribute to audits, research and quality improvement projects, while teaching and mentoring students and junior staff to promote professional development and excellent patient

Qualifikationen

• Registered General Nurse (level 1) with a nursing degree.
• 1 year nursing experience; no IR experience required but welcomed.
• Awareness of the NMC Code and current developments in nursing.

Aufgaben

• Provide high-quality, patient-centred nursing care within Interventional Radiology for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Deliver specialist care including pre-assessment, conscious sedation, medication administration and post-procedure recovery.
• Assist with procedures, monitor patients, maintain radiation safety and ensure safe handovers and transfers.
