Job summary

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals is recruiting a Specialist Radiographer - Interventional Radiology (Band 6) at Royal Preston Hospital. The role is full-time (37.5 hours) with on-call and potential evenings/weekends in a busy arterial centre delivering angiography and interventional radiology services.

You should have experience in angiography or a strong interest in interventional radiography, HCPC registration, and be a capable team leader who can supervise junior staff and ensure high-quality

Qualifications

• Knowledge of a wide range of interventional radiology procedures.
• Experience of angiographic procedures.
• Experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Evidence of independent working and leading a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the day-to-day running of the service under the Lead Radiographer.
• Plan and allocate work to ensure timely delivery of an effective service.
• Monitor standards of professional practice and supervise junior staff.
• Provide leadership and direction to the team and maintain patient records.
• Ensure high radiographic standards and promote patient safety.
