Zachary Daniels is seeking an International Operations Coordinator to join their international team in North London, operating on a hybrid model with 2-3 days in the office. You will coordinate international customer orders from order receipt through production to delivery, collaborating with US teams, Asia manufacturers and cross-functional colleagues across Sales, Planning and Supply Chain.
The role focuses on managing lead times, communicating updates to customers, and balancing production
I'm working with a successful international consumer goods business that's continuing to grow across global markets. They're looking for an International Operations Coordinator to join their international team, working with customers, overseas factories and suppliers across orders, production lead times and delivery.
I've recruited for the business for a number of years and it's genuinely a great place to work. There's a real buzz around the office, the team is close-knit and people tend to stay because there are lots of opportunities to learn and develop.
It\'s a really varied role. You\'ll work with international customers, colleagues in the US, manufacturing partners in Asia and teams across Sales, Planning and Supply Chain.
You\'ll be involved from the point an order comes in, through purchasing and production, keeping on top of factory lead times and any issues along the way, right through to delivery.
Day to day, you\'ll be:
It\'s not a role where you\'ll just be following the same process every day. Things change, problems come up and you\'ll have the freedom to use your judgement and work out the best way forward.
For this hire, experience of working with factories or suppliers and production lead times is important. You\'ll ideally have worked in a consumer product business and have a good understanding of what happens from an order being placed through to production and delivery.
You might currently work in operations, buying, merchandising, production or supply. I\'m fairly open on exact background, but you\'ll need to be used to coordinating lots of moving parts and comfortable dealing with both customers and suppliers.
You\'ll be organised, good with detail and a confident communicator. More than anything, you\'ll be someone who takes ownership, asks questions when something doesn\'t look right and gets on with finding a solution.
If this sounds like the sort of role you\'d enjoy, I\'d love to hear from you.
