Both behind the scenes within the warehouses and across the front end of the customer experience, we now have an opportunity for an Area Manager to join the team. As an Area Manager at the Bicester Customer Fulfilment Centre, you will be crucial in leading, motivating, and supporting
your operational team to maintain exceptional health and safety standards, drive people engagement, and ensure the delivery of key performance indicators (KPIs) in a dynamic, 24/7 environment.
This role exists to foster a culture of operational excellence, continuous improvement, and outstanding employee experience within your business unit.
This position involves a 4-on, 4-off pattern of 12-hour shifts, with both day and night roles available. (Note: Exact shift patterns and start times will be confirmed during the recruitment process.) Y ou will be: Using your management skills to lead and motivate teams in a time-sensitive operational environment, focusing on safety, welfare, and conduct.
Applying your Health & Safety knowledge to ensure exceptional standards, promoting a positive safety culture, and completing detailed adverse event investigations.
Utilising your people management experience to maintain an exceptional employee experience, drive training/coaching, and address key
people KPIs like labour turnover and absence %.
Using your operational focus to contribute to performance improvement, maintain excellent housekeeping, and ensure adherence to food safety mechanisms.
Leveraging your communication and numeracy skills to manage daily operations, deliver pre-shift briefings, and report on specific area KPI metrics
You will also be expected to Undertake tiered management/personal shopper tasks if needed. Stand/walk for extended periods.
