Job summary

AEP Compressed Air Technologies is seeking an Internal Technical Sales Engineer in Honiton (EX14) to join our sales team. You will be the first point of contact for customers and Field Sales Engineers, using your technical know‑how to match the right compressed air solutions and prepare competitive quotations.

Work involves sizing equipment to customer specs, coordinating with Field Sales Engineers, and driving orders through to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Be the go‑to contact for inbound enquiries by phone, email and web – turning enquiries into orders
• Put together accurate, competitive technical quotations for compressors, air treatment, pipework systems, spares and consumables using SAP
• Size equipment for applications – flow, pressure, air quality to ISO 8573-1 and duty cycle – with the Sales team
• Follow up quotations and manage your own live pipeline of opportunities
• Help customers cut energy use with energy-saving solutions – VSD compressors, heat recovery, air leak surveys and data logging
• Build relationships with your portfolio of accounts and win back dormant customers to generate new business
