Job summary

Demob Job Ltd is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their team covering Exeter and surrounding areas. You will service and support customers across the region, working on a range of compressed air equipment and related systems at customer sites.

The role is home-based with travel to sites, including overnight stays on occasion. The ideal candidate will have NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering, proven service and installation experience, PLC fault finding ability, and a valid

Qualifications

Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering.
Proven experience in service, maintenance, repairs and installations of equipment.
Experience with compressed air systems preferred.
Electrical fault finding, including PLCs, is required.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Security clearance is required.
Own toolkit is required (specialist tools provided).
Full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

Service and support customers across the region on compressed air equipment.
Carry out planned servicing, fault finding, diagnostics and repairs.
Respond to breakdowns and complete installation and commissioning work.
Attend customer sites, with occasional overnight travel and on-call rota as needed.
