Job summary

HRGO Recruitment in Runcorn, Cheshire, seeks an Internal Sales Representative offering a permanent role paying around £26,227 per year, plus 34 days holiday and other benefits. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers and identify growth opportunities
• Contact prospective customers and follow up on leads to generate new business
• Handle enquiries via phone and email, providing prompt support
• Prepare quotations and support customers through purchasing
• Manage customer orders, stock enquiries and delivery expectations
• Follow up on outstanding quotations to maximise sales opportunities
• Promote additional products and solutions where appropriate
• Maintain accurate customer records and update internal systems
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth service

HRGO Recruitment are recruiting an ambitious and customer focused Internal Sales Representative to join a growing team based in Runcorn.

Working in a fast-paced environment, you will play a key role in supporting business growth by managing customer enquiries, developing existing accounts, generating new opportunities, and delivering an excellent customer experience from initial contact through to order completion.

The role:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities for growth
• Contact prospective customers and follow up on leads to generate new business
• Handle incoming enquiries via phone and email, providing prompt and professional support
• Prepare quotations and support customers through the purchasing process
• Manage customer orders, stock enquiries and delivery expectations
• Follow up on outstanding quotations to maximise sales opportunities
• Promote additional products and solutions where appropriate
• Maintain accurate customer records and update internal systems
• Work closely with internal departments to ensure customers receive a smooth and efficient service

The candidate:

We are looking for a motivated sales professional who is confident communicating with customers and enjoys working towards targets.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience in an internal sales, sales support, customer service or account management role
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Confidence making outbound calls and following up opportunities
• Good organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
• A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Competence using Microsoft Office and CRM/business systems
• The ability and willingness to learn technical product information (full training provided)
