Job summary

Pertemps Crawley Perms in the United Kingdom is seeking an Internal Sales / Sales Support professional to manage customer enquiries via telephone and email, prepare accurate quotations, and support customers with their requirements.

You will follow up quotations and opportunities to maximise conversion, build strong relationships with new and existing customers, and work with internal teams to ensure requirements are delivered.

Qualifications

• Experience in an internal sales or customer-facing commercial role.
• Confident telephone manner and good relationship skills.
• Proactive and organised with the ability to manage multiple opportunities.
• CRM experience is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries via phone and email.
• Prepare accurate quotations and assist with customers' requirements.
• Follow up quotations to maximise conversion.

The Role

Managing customer enquiries via telephone and email.

Preparing accurate quotations and supporting customers with their requirements.

Following up quotations and opportunities to maximise conversion.

Maintaining regular communication with customers to progress sales.

Building strong relationships with both new and existing customers.

Identifying opportunities to increase sales through additional products and services.

Processing and managing customer orders.

Working closely with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are delivered effectively.

Supporting the wider sales team with larger or more complex opportunities.

The Person

Previous experience within an Internal Sales, Sales Support or customer-focused commercial role.

Confident telephone manner with strong relationship-building skills.

Proactive and organised, with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple opportunities.

Persistent yet professional approach to customer engagement.

Comfortable using Microsoft Office packages, with CRM experience advantageous.

The Package

Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm.

21 days holiday plus Bank Holidays.

Salary of £35,000 - £45,000pa, depending on experience.
