Job summary

Confidential in Poole is seeking an Internal Sales & Customer Service professional to join a high-performing team in a busy heating and plumbing distribution business. You will manage a portfolio of key accounts, grow trade value, and support the Sales Team Manager with office-based account management.

The role offers a starting salary of 29,000–30,000, an uncapped profit share bonus, a pension, full training, and a friendly team environment with 8am-5pm hours.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic, proactive communicator with strong telephone/office skills.
• Experience in internal sales, customer service, or similar office-based role is beneficial.
• Comfortable managing multiple accounts and building relationships with key contacts.
• Motivated by targets and driving results.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Proficient with standard office software (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of key contacts through regular engagement.
• Grow client accounts by increasing trade value and tailoring product ranges.
• Support the Sales Team Manager with office-based account management.
• Negotiate pricing confidently and make commercially sound decisions.
• Increase turnover and profit through strategic sales activity.
• Maintain accurate records and high-quality administration across accounts.
