Job summary

Aspion Search in Chester is seeking an Internal Sales Executive to manage customer enquiries from initial contact through to completed orders, working with the Regional Branch Manager and operations teams to prepare quotations and convert opportunities.

You will develop long-term relationships with new and existing customers, contribute towards branch sales targets, and maintain accurate CRM records while supporting daily branch operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in internal sales, sales support, customer service, account management or a trade-counter environment.
• Confident managing enquiries, preparing quotations and following up sales opportunities.
• Experience within timber, construction, manufacturing, fencing, builders' merchants or building materials would be advantageous.
• B2B sales and CRM or order-processing experience is desirable.
• Strong communication, organisation and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer enquiries by telephone, email and face-to-face.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable construction-product solutions.
• Prepare accurate quotations, estimates and commercial tenders.
• Proactively follow up quotations and convert opportunities into confirmed orders.
• Develop relationships with retail, trade, contractor and commercial customers.
• Generate repeat business and identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Manage orders through to completion and keep customers informed throughout.
• Maintain accurate customer, quotation and sales activity within the CRM system.
• Contribute towards branch sales targets while supporting daily branch operations.
