Job summary

ASL is seeking an Internal Sales executive in the Oxford area to support the sales and hire teams by calling warm leads, following up quotes, and processing orders with a proactive, customer-focused approach.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication, strong organisational skills, and a professional telephone manner. A full UK driving licence and the ability to commute to the Haddenham office are required; this is an office-based role, Monday to Friday.

A motivated Internal Sales executive is required for our prestigious market leading, award winning, Sunday Times Fast track 100 engineering client. This exciting entry level sales role would suit a proactive and driven customer service professional with excellent communication, organisational skills and professional friendly telephone manner. You will be supporting the sales and hire teams to deliver excellent customer service to existing customers, calling warm leads of existing quotes, following up and checking quotes to help process sales orders. You can come from any industry or background; office retail, hospitality, engineering as long as you have exceptional customer service and telephone manner and a can-do attitude!

The ideal internal sales executive will have the following, experience, attributes and skills;

• Excellent customer service experience and a polite, friendly professional telephone manner
• Ideally some experience of sales quotes, phone sales, telesales, internal sales, sales calls, medium- high phone calls (any tele sales, market sales, market research calls, warm sales leads, quotations sales experience would be of interest) or happy and able to make high volumes of telephone calls soft sales daily
• A full UK driving licence and already based a commutable distance to Haddenham office daily for permanent onsite office based role (this is not hybrid, remote or part time,). The hours are Monday to Friday
• Highly organised, excellent attention to detail and a flexible, positive can-do attitude
• Good team player, friendly, polite, professional, resilient telephone manner
• Excellent IT skills (can use database, spreadsheets, CRM systems. Salesforce is desirable)
• Excellent listening ability, communication, negotiation and interaction skills

Key responsibilities of this internal sales executive role include;

• Daily management of the quote database- following up on recent quotations, sales enquiries, customer interactions, CRM database
• Calling customers regarding recent quotations, making outbound calls to existing customers, checking their quotes and answering queries and questions and following these up
• Market research -Liaising with customers about the requirements, gathering more detailed information about their requirements, budgets ,future projects and competitors
• Passing these qualifying leads & detailed info onto the Sales manager, hire team and field sales team
