Job summary

Netbox Recruitment is seeking an Internal Sales Representative for a well-established civil engineering materials supplier in the South East of England. The role focuses on developing customer relationships, generating new business and supporting daily commercial operations.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will make outbound calls, manage enquiries and liaise with suppliers on pricing, stock and lead times, ensuring excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• At least one year's experience in a sales role.
• Passion for sales and business development.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident communication and the ability to build lasting relationships.
• Good commercial awareness and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• The right to work in the UK.
• Experience in construction materials sector advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Making outbound calls to new and existing customers.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities.
• Managing customer enquiries and providing outstanding service.
• Liaising with suppliers regarding pricing, stock availability, and lead times.
• Processing cash sales and third-party invoicing.
• Allocating materials and stock.
• Supporting delivery and haulage coordination.
