Job summary

GCS Associates in Hinckley is seeking an enthusiastic Internal Sales Executive to drive activity in the Building Materials sector. You will manage inbound and outbound contacts, qualify quotations, and work closely with the sales office to understand projects and tailor solutions for builders merchants and civil engineering clients.

The role focuses on developing relationships with existing customers, upselling where possible, and providing proactive account management.

Qualifications

• Experience working within the Construction Supplies industry.
• Proactive, hungry internal sales professional with strong account management and customer relation skills.
• Ability to interact with customers via phone, email, and face-to-face to upsell and build rapport.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Internal Sales Executive to join their busy sales office. Please bear in mind the ideal candidate will have experience of working in builders merchants or construction supplies industry.

This Internal Sales Executive is a very important role for our client. We don't want an order processor We need a proactive, hungry Internal sales professional who will go above and beyond. This Internal Sales role will require strong account management and customer relation skills.

As an Internal Sales Executive you will interact with customers over the phone, by email and face to face. Asking questions, finding about the projects the clients are working on, taking quotation enquiries, developing rapport with these people and upselling where possible. You will need to be able to think on your feet and ideally demonstrate sound knowledge when called upon.
