Job summary

E3 Recruitment is seeking an Internal Sales & Estimating Engineer in Bradford to convert enquiries into orders. You will prepare accurate quotations, review drawings, gather supplier pricing and chase opportunities through the sales pipeline.

The role combines technical estimating with proactive account development, outbound calls, and relation building with customers. A strong commercial mindset and CRM experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in internal sales, estimating or quotations.
• Comfortable making outbound calls to potential customers.
• Experience selling manufactured/engineered products.
• Strong commercial awareness with ability to close opportunities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience using CRM systems and maintaining records.
• Highly organised with good time management and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and results-driven.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate quotations based on customer requirements.
• Review technical specifications, drawings and enquiries.
• Obtain supplier pricing and support cost estimates.
• Follow up quotations and progress opportunities through the sales pipeline.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
• Develop business from dormant and lapsed accounts.
• Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities where appropriate.
• Attend customer meetings and industry events as required.
