Job summary

Insight Select is seeking an Internal Sales Advisor to join its busy customer-focused team in Colchester on a permanent basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building strong customer relationships, and has a proactive approach to driving sales growth.

You will handle inbound calls and emails, build strong relationships with trade clients, advise on products and quotes, manage orders, and support field sales by identifying opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or customer support, preferably B2B.
• Strong communication and rapport-building skills.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and collaborative team player.
• Familiar with IT systems; CRM experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls and email enquiries, ensuring a high standard of customer care
• Develop and nurture effective working relationships with trade clients and business partners
• Advise customers on products, pricing and availability, preparing quotes where required
• Accurately manage orders and maintain customer account information
• Assist field sales colleagues by identifying opportunities and carrying out follow-up activity
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate records within the CRM system
