Job summary

Insight Select in the United Kingdom seeks an Internal Sales Advisor to join a busy, customer-focused team on a permanent basis. The role involves handling inbound calls and emails, advising customers on products and pricing, and preparing quotes where required.

Based in North Colchester, Essex (driving licence essential), the role offers £28,000 - £32,000 basic salary plus a performance-related bonus, opportunities for progression, staff discounts, and free on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Background in sales or customer support, ideally within a B2B environment.
• Clear and confident communicator with the ability to build rapport.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic and collaborative team player.
• Comfortable using IT systems; experience with CRM platforms is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls and email enquiries, ensuring a high standard of customer care.
• Develop and nurture effective working relationships with trade clients and business partners.
• Advise customers on products, pricing and availability, preparing quotes where required.
• Accurately manage orders and maintain customer account information.
• Assist field sales colleagues by identifying opportunities and carrying out follow-up activity.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate records within the CRM system.
