Job summary

Oakley Recruitment is working in partnership with an expanding organisation in Tamworth to recruit an Internal Sales Coordinator on a full-time permanent basis.

The role involves managing a portfolio of accounts, turning inquiries into orders through consultative sales, and driving growth by following up samples, quotations and active promotions. You will work to KPIs and targets, delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience of working in a customer sales role.
• Ability to deliver consultative advice to improve the customer experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and rapport building.
• Problem solving with a positive and proactive attitude.
• Excellent attention to detail, particularly relating to data entry.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of accounts.
• Dealing with existing and prospective customers to generate orders.
• Following up samples and quotations, converting these to sales.
• Ensuring accounts are aware of active promotions.
• Follow up and generate new business through own initiative.
• Working to KPIs and targets.
