Job summary

Frontier Consulting is hiring an Internal Recruiter to lead the recruitment of Support Workers within our Birmingham-based supported living services. You will manage end-to-end processes, screening and shortlisting candidates while coordinating with service managers to fill vacancies efficiently and safely.

The role focuses on attracting experienced candidates, proactive sourcing, and ensuring compliant pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• Experience recruiting Support Workers within care or supported living
• Understanding of what makes a suitable candidate for supported living
• Experience managing multiple vacancies simultaneously
• Experience conducting telephone or video screening interviews
• Experience using job boards and proactive sourcing
• Good understanding of safer recruitment and pre-employment checks
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage priorities
• Attention to detail and ability to handle challenging recruitment requirements

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment process for Support Workers and other operational care roles
• Collaborate with Managers to understand staffing requirements and priorities
• Create and post engaging adverts to attract candidates
• Proactively source candidates via job boards, social media and recruitment platforms
• Review applications and shortlist against role requirements
• Conduct telephone and video screening interviews
• Assess candidates’ experience, values and motivation
• Coordinate interviews and provide feedback throughout process
• Maintain regular candidate communication for a positive experience
• Coordinate pre-employment checks and ensure compliance
• Ensure recruitment activity follows safer recruitment practices
• Maintain recruitment records and candidate data
• Manage multiple vacancies across different services
• Build relationships with hiring managers
• Develop proactive recruitment campaigns for hard-to-fill roles
• Monitor activity and identify opportunities to improve attraction and retention
