Job summary

A global creative agency is seeking a Technical Designer to produce working drawings and develop construction details. The ideal candidate will have strong experience across RIBA Stages 4–7 and be practically minded, balancing aesthetics with technical integration. This role allows for remote work, but candidates are expected to visit the London office up to twice a month. The focus is on AV integration, setworks, and lighting design, making prior experience within this sector important.

We are working with this global creative agency who design & deliver Visitor Centers, Museums & Attractions globally.

The roles are primarily focused on producing working drawings, developing construction details, and liaising with subcontractors — so experience within this sector is important.

We are looking for someone who is practically minded, able to balance aesthetics with a strong understanding of technical integration (e.g., how screens are built into setworks while remaining accessible for maintenance, etc.).

As a Technical Designer, you will have strong experience across RIBA Stages 4–7. A generalist would also be very welcome, provided they have strong experience in drawing packages but looking for someone with experience across the various elements that make up our projects — AV integration, setworks, object cases, lighting etc.

This role is WFH but candidates will need to visit & work from our clients London office up to twice a month unless away on site.
