Job summary

Domus is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a seven-bed residential service for adults with learning disabilities in Blythe Bridge, Staffordshire. The role requires strong leadership, CQC knowledge and a commitment to person-centred care.

The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day operations, develop staff, and ensure high standards of safeguarding and compliance. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Registered Manager or a strong Deputy Manager ready to step up within a learning disabilities residential service.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
• The ability to lead, motivate and develop a team to deliver outstanding person-centred care.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding, risk management and care planning.
• Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.
• NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social care management

The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day running of the service, lead and develop the staff team, and ensure the home maintains high standards of care, compliance and safeguarding in line with CQC regulations.

Please note: This is a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave, with no permanent position lined up or guarnteedat the end of the contract.

The ideal candidate will have:
