Job summary

Domus Recruitment is seeking an Interim Manager to lead a CQC-regulated residential service for adults with learning disabilities in the United Kingdom. The role requires confident, visible leadership from day one and a proven track record in social care management.

You will oversee team development, safeguarding, and compliance while maintaining high-quality, person-centred support. A Level 5 leadership qualification or progress towards it is preferred, with a valid UK driving license.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in managing CQC-regulated services.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with learning disabilities and residential care.
• Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive, solution-focused service management approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the team to provide safe, person-centred support and wellbeing.
• Ensure the service meets CQC, regulatory and internal quality and safety standards.
• Manage budgets, resources and colleagues to sustain high-quality care.
• Build positive relationships with people supported, families, staff and partners.
• Support recruitment, induction, training, supervision and appraisal of the team.
• Provide visible leadership across the service and drive continuous improvement.
• Identify and respond to challenges and service improvements as they arise.
