Qualifications

• Recent experience in a Local Authority Revenues Service with strong Business Rates knowledge.
• Practical, recent experience applying Business Rates legislation, not just theoretical knowledge.
• Experience using MRI (Capita/Academy) or Northgate document management systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage the financial assets of the Council and ensure accurate recovery of revenues.
• Apply knowledge of local authority legislation and performance management.
• Deliver a statutory-compliant revenues service and meet improvement goals.
