Page Personnel in Coventry seeks an experienced Interim Operations Manager to lead manufacturing and operations teams to deliver site KPIs, cost controls and safety.

You will drive continuous improvement, manage budgets, collaborate with engineering, quality, supply chain and HR, and mentor leaders for capability and succession. This interim role offers weekly pay and the potential for long-term extension.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a senior manufacturing or operations leadership role.
• Experience in industrial/manufacturing environments (aerospace/defence/precision).
• Proven ability to drive productivity, efficiency and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Experience leading large teams through supervisors and team leaders.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety, quality systems and regulatory compliance.
• Lean Six Sigma, IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications are beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Lead manufacturing and operational teams to achieve site KPIs.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage labour utilisation, productivity, waste reduction, and costs.
• Coach and mentor operational leaders to build capability and succession.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Planning, HR and Finance to meet objectives.
• Support transformation, capital projects and business improvement programmes.
• Monitor budgets and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Drive OTIF and customer service improvements.
