Job summary

Office Angels is recruiting an experienced HR Advisor to join a well-established manufacturing business in Baildon/Shipley, Bradford on an interim 2-3 month contract. You will provide hands-on support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring legal compliance and advising managers on HR matters.

You will work with managers and the HR team to deliver HR strategy, handle employee relations, and contribute to HR reporting while maintaining records and MI.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a HR Advisor role.
• Strong understanding of UK Employment Law and HR best practice.
• Experience handling employee relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances and performance management.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong IT literacy and numeracy skills.
• Experience producing HR reports and analysing workforce data.

Responsibilities

• Ensure HR activities are conducted in line with employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Provide advice and guidance to managers on HR matters including disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, absence management and flexible working requests.
• Support recruitment activities with partners, ensuring processes follow best practice.
• Manage transitions for agency personnel.
• Support line managers through employee relations processes with HR representation.
• Maintain absence management procedures and accurate employee records.
• Produce weekly and monthly HR management information, reports and statistics.
• Support Health & Safety objectives and initiatives.
