Job Title: Interim Head of Finance

We are supporting a privately owned technology business in their search for an Interim Head of Finance, initially for 6 months. Reporting to the CFO, you will oversee all aspects of financial control and reporting. The company is based in Buckinghamshire, and the role requires onsite presence 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform cyclical controllership duties such as month-end close, adjustments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
2. Manage a lean team, driving continuous improvements to reduce manual activities and enhance efficiency and accuracy.
3. Support cash flow management and working capital optimization, including inventory reconciliation.
4. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and provide financial analysis to aid decision-making.

Candidate Profile:

• Experience as a Head of Finance or Financial Controller within an SME environment.
• Experience in a PE or VC-backed business is desirable.
• Hands-on and comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
