Job summary

Dovetail And Slate Ltd in East London is seeking an experienced Interim Curriculum Manager for Foundation Learning and SEND to lead and develop provision, drive high-quality teaching and achieve strong learner outcomes. This role is full-time and interim, with responsibility for curriculum planning, quality assurance and improvement.

You will line manage teaching staff, monitor progress, safeguarding, and work with parents, carers and external agencies while using data and KPIs to drive

Qualifications

• FE curriculum management experience is essential.
• Experience leading SEND, Foundation Learning, or similar FE provision.
• Experience managing and developing teaching staff.
• A full teaching qualification.
• Strong knowledge of inclusive curriculum delivery and learner support.
• Experience supporting learners with SEND/EHCPs and complex needs.
• Understanding of quality improvement and FE KPIs.
• Proven ability to improve learner outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Foundation Learning and SEND programmes.
• Line manage and develop teaching staff.
• Drive recruitment, retention, achievement, attendance and progression.
• Lead curriculum planning, QA and improvement.
• Monitor learner progress, behaviour and safeguarding.
• Manage curriculum resources, staffing and timetabling.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, parents/carers and external agencies.
• Use data and KPIs to drive performance.
• Support quality improvement planning and self-assessment.
• Teach approximately 7-12 hours per week.
