Job summary

Dovetail & Slate Ltd is seeking an experienced SEND Curriculum Manager to lead Supported Learning provision at an FE college in London. This is an interim, full-time role with responsibility for high-quality teaching, learning, and inclusive education.

The successful candidate will drive curriculum development, manage staff, monitor progression and ensure compliance with funding and QA standards, including Ofsted readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience as Curriculum Manager or senior curriculum leader in FE.
• Strong SEND/SLL/High Needs provision background.
• Experience leading staff and improving learner outcomes.
• Understanding of funding rules and QA processes.
• Able to drive inclusive learning and EHCP-related outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of SEND and Supported Learning from Pre-Entry to Level 1.
• Manage teaching and support staff; drive performance and development.
• Oversee curriculum planning to meet learners' needs and progression.
• Monitor attendance, retention, achievement using data.
• Ensure funding compliance and quality assurance.
• Contribute to audits, Ofsted inspections and quality reviews.
• Manage curriculum budgets and resources.
• Collaborate to develop inclusive practices and learner outcomes.
