Job summary

Dovetail & Slate Ltd is seeking an experienced FE curriculum manager to lead its SEND, Foundation Learning and Supported Learning provisions. You will drive high-quality teaching, learner outcomes and continuous curriculum improvement across the SEND curriculum area.

You will line-manage teaching staff, oversee QA and improvement planning, and work with families and external agencies to support learners with EHCPs and complex needs. Data-driven improvements are essential.

Qualifications

• Curriculum management experience within further education.
• Experience leading SEND, Foundation Learning or Supported Learning provision.
• Experience managing and developing teaching staff.
• Experience supporting learners with EHCPs and complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing the SEND and Foundation Learning curriculum area.
• Line managing, supporting and developing teaching staff.
• Driving improvements in recruitment, retention, attendance, achievement and progression.
• Leading curriculum planning, quality assurance and improvement activity.
• Monitoring learner progress, behaviour and wellbeing.
• Managing curriculum resources, staffing and timetabling.
• Working with parents, carers and external agencies to support learners.
• Using data and key performance indicators to drive improvement.
