Job summary

Domus Recruitment is seeking an Interim Manager to oversee a supported living service in Sawley for 3–6 months, with potential to go temp to perm. You will provide leadership, supervise staff, ensure current support plans, and manage staffing and budgets.

The role requires experience with vulnerable adults, NVQ Level 3/5 in Social Care Management, strong communication, and willingness to travel between services and work evenings/weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting people who are vulnerable.
• NVQ Level 3/5 in Social Care Management or equivalent.
• Experience of supervising and motivating staff.
• Clear written and verbal communication style.
• Willing to undertake required training, sometimes off site and outside normal working hours.
• Willing and able to travel between locations as required.
• Available for flexible working patterns including evenings, weekends, sleep-ins and nights as required.
• Able to undertake on-call duties on a rota basis.
• A driver to enable travel between services.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to teams, observe and feedback on practice to improve quality and person-centred approaches.
• Undertake regular supervision meetings with staff and facilitate team meetings.
• Ensure support plans are current and staff are aware of reviews and implementations.
• Manage performance issues with informal/formal processes with guidance from Service Manager/HR.
• Manage staffing resources including rota management and staff budgets.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested.
