Interaction Designer

Whitehall Resources are currently looking for an Interaction Designer.

You will be required to use an FCSA Accredited Umbrella Company for this role.

Must not have been outside of the UK for more than 6 months in the last 5 years.

Key Requirements:

1. Design collaboratively and in the open, engaging the Buyer team with the design process and adapting it if necessary.
2. Contribute to recording design iterations using design histories, recording progress and decision making as part of the day-to-day process.
3. Use evidence to challenge assumptions, negotiate with product owners and rationalise your design decisions.
4. Create prototypes and mock-ups to iterate journeys and features in user research, explain complex ideas and support the development process.
5. Set the design direction and establish good practice.
6. Champion accessibility and inclusion, consider the impact of new technologies, and ensure designs meet accessibility, legal, and security requirements.
7. Identify and build strong relationships with stakeholders across the borders space, influencing and collaborating with them to improve design quality.
8. Work with colleagues to use analytics data, user feedback, and user research to identify user needs, map user journeys, and inform design strategy.
9. Encourage knowledge sharing within and between teams, ensuring designs are reusable and consistent with the Client Design System.
10. Identify and compare processes or delivery methods, including measuring and evaluating outcomes.
11. Listen to the needs of technical and business stakeholders, translating them into visual representations and interactive simulations.
12. Work collaboratively in a group, actively networking with others.
13. Consider the strategic service design end-to-end.
