DESCRIPTION
We're seeking an exceptional Interaction Designer to join our team of designers, technologists, and researchers. As part of Amazon's Futures Design team, you'll help craft meaningful experiences that improve the lives of our customers worldwide. This role combines UX, interaction design, prototyping, and visual design expertise to redefine how people interact with emerging technologies. Working in our collaborative, close-knit team, you'll have direct impact and visibility while helping shape the future of Amazon's device experiences.
About You
You're a hands-on designer who thrives in a small, agile team environment where you can wear multiple hats and have direct impact. Your natural instinct is to make ideas tangible early in the process, using prototypes to validate concepts and test ambitious ideas. You have strong design fundamentals and stay current with UX trends and emerging technologies. You're comfortable working directly with stakeholders across all levels and can clearly articulate your design decisions. Most importantly, you're excited about the prospect of working in a team where your voice matters and your contributions directly influence product direction.

About the team
Futures Design is the advanced concept design and incubation team within Amazon's Device and Services Design Group (DDG). We're responsible for exploring and defining think (very) big opportunities globally - so that we can better understand how new products and services might enrich the lives of our customers. We work on devices and services that are not yet on our roadmap, with the runway to invent and design category-defining transformational customer experiences.
The London Studio is a small but growing team of design specialists. As we explore future opportunities, we work closely together, sharing knowledge across design, technology, and research disciplines. Our size allows us to be nimble, while our position within Amazon gives us access to world-class resources and expertise.
