Job summary

Sussex Police in Brighton is seeking a part-time Intelligence Support Assistant to manage diaries, draft minutes, and input risk-related data. The role supports risk assessment processes and requires accurate data handling and timely updates to records.

You will liaise with staff across intelligence hubs, maintain data quality, and assist with transcription and document production while communicating clearly with colleagues and partners.

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs grade C or above (or equivalent) to include English.
• Well organised with a high level of personal responsibility and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work both as part of a team and independently with flexible approach.
• The ability to communicate clearly in written and spoken form.
• Good IT skills with data quality and accuracy using MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage diary and email for the team, and record decisions and actions.
• Take minutes and update systems with decisions made and actions.
• Input data for risk, threat, vulnerability and harm assessments.
• Monitor risk assessments and liaise with risk owners.
• Populate templates to support tasking coordination and performance data.
• Communicate clearly with staff, officers, and management.
