Job summary

Saab UK, Fareham, is seeking an Integration Team Lead to head the Integration Team responsible for assembling and integrating remotely operated vehicles and their supporting equipment in line with the configuration documents.

You will ensure projects finish on time and to the highest quality, lead a fast-paced production area, develop the team, and coordinate with engineering and customer delivery schedules to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous Team Leadership experience is essential.
• Strong communication skills are required.
• A minimum HNC/HND qualification preferably in Electronics.
• Good knowledge in the use of fibre optic termination, equipment and testing.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Integration Engineering working on the Assembly, Testing and Commissioning of underwater robotics fleet.
• Ensure team are trained effectively to integrate all assemblies and sub-assemblies to produce complete systems as per customer specification.
• Support testing of products required, proving system functionality and auxiliaries as per customer requirements.
• Provide offsite/offshore commissioning and customer support as required.
